Jimmy Donaldson was born May 7, 1998. He is better known as MrBeast. The YouTube personality has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that revolve around costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded his videos to YouTube when he was 13, and he used the username "MrBeast6000". He started by posting Let's Plays and "videos estimating how wealthy other YouTubers were" content. In 2017, he became a viral sensation after his "counting to 100,000" video racked up hundreds of thousands of views in a matter of days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with the majority of his videos gaining tens of millions of views.Over time, his style of content diversified to include challenge and donation videos that pay millions of dollars, videos that include difficult challenges or tasks, and original videos. Donaldson employed a number of his former classmates as helpers to run his expanding channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022
