Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30th, 1990 also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper and singer. His stage name is a combination of the name of a beloved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The singer also signed a recording deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh. He then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015), his first studio album, featured the hit single "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and included his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was able to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to be ranked the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
